All Campus Animal Care And Use Committee
The All Campus ACUC is a duly constituted Committee and serves as the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) in the University’s interactions with regulatory entities. Its scope of oversight is the ethical and humane use of animals in all University research, teaching, and outreach activities. This oversight is comprised primarily of evaluating the Animal Care Program and directing University resources to support and enhance the Program. The All Campus ACUC is currently chaired by Dr. N.J. Benevenga, Professor Emeritus, Animal Sciences Department. The University is a registered USDA Research Facility (35-R-001) and holds an Assurance from the National Institutes of Health (A3368-01).
