Please note: The protocol is divided into General and Species Details sections. The majority of the protocol is in the Species Details section.
Outline
This navigation tool is located at the top of every page of the protocol. To use the Outline tool, click on the "Outline" button.
A summary window will open to the left of the protocol showing the two main sections, General Sections and Species Details.
Click on the section title that you would like to jump to, e.g., if you would like to add or change something on the Physical Hazards page, click on the name "Physical Hazards."
To jump to a specific page within a species, click on the species name and then click on the page to which you want to jump.
If you select "Exit" when using the outline navigation tool, it will take you completely out of the protocol and back to the protocol workspace.
Breadcrumb
This navigation tool is located at the top of every page of the protocol.To use the Breadcrumb tool, click on the red protocol number.
A drop down with "General Sections" and "Species Details" will appear under the Outline and Breadcrumb navigation tools.
To view a page in the General Section, move your cursor towards the arrow next to "General Sections." A drop-down menu of pages within the General Section will appear. Choose the page you would like to view (e.g., Duplication) and click on the title.
Breadcrumb navigation works the same for the Species Details section. If you have more than one species, move your cursor to the species you are interested in and then click the page you would like to view.
Jump To
This navigation tool is located at the top of every page of the protocol. To use the Jump To tool, click the arrow next to "Jump To."
Click on the section title that you would like to jump to, e.g. if you would like to view something on the Experimental Narrative page, click on the name "Experimental Narrative."
To jump to a specific page within a species, click on "Selected Species" on the Jump To menu.
Click on the Species Details of the species you would like to review, and then use the Jump To menu to find the page you wish to review (i.e. euthanasia substances).
If you wish to exit the protocol and you are in the species section, you will actually need to exit twice - once to go from the species section back into the general section, and then again to get back to the protocol workspace for that protocol.
